Job Title - Payment Operations Manager
Location - Glasgow
Salary - Up to £600 per day
Duration - 8 months initially
The Role
blue chip financial services organisation seeking an experienced Payment Operations Manager to provide high quality strategic leadership of the payment operations teams. You will report directly into the head of function and be responsible for a range of high value, high volume business critical processes through leadership of departments in single or multiple sites.
The leadership that you provide will cover the group's main payment processing function, consisting of approximately 1400 staff; the team operate from 10 geographical locations across 3 continents.
In addition to the overall leadership responsibility, the Payment Operations Manager will:
Be accountable for establishing high performance organisational standards
Be responsible for a number of department or site managers' daily routine planning, process execution and delivery
Be accountable for all aggregate impacts of client daily demand volumes and resource management
Ensure a high level of payment industry and process knowledge is kept up to date
Implement, deliver and monitor Regulatory Standards
Champion team process improvement ideas under continuous improvement
The Candidate
The successful Payment Operations manager must have the following:
Experience of Senior Operational Management within a payment processing environment
Excellent team leading ability
Strong problem solving ability
Excellent stakeholder management experience
Strong risk management experience
