My client, a telecommunications client based in London, currently requires an interim Financial Modeller for a period of at least 6 mionths, with the potential for extension or even permanent employment therafter.

On offer is the opportunity to join a forward thinking organisation with ambitious growth plans. This company have already had a huge impact on the international marketplace and are market leaders for mobile infrastructure.

This is a brand new role and will require the successful candidate to work in close collaboration with the Commercial Manager for the business. The organisation are going through a series of major mergers and acquisitions and the ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience within a similar environment.

Duties will include creating and maintaining complex and detailed financial models for the purpose of commercial decision-making, with minimal supervision from the Commercial team. You will also be required to assist and support with financial planning and forecasting and will provide financial guidance to the sales and business development teams.

The ideal candidate will be an expert financial modeller who has a background within either telecommunciations or the financial services/banking sectors.

Essential/Desirable criteria for this role:
* Strong financial modelling experience with demonstrable ability to not only maintain financial models but also to create them from scratch (essential)
* Experience of mergers and acquisitions (essential)
* Telco/Banking/Financial Services sector experience (highly desirable)
* Experience of African markets (desirable)
