MARKETING DIRECTOR - HEALTHCARE - CONTRACT ROLE

Summary - This brief of this senior marketing position is to drive the overall brand strategy to ensure profitable growth and alignment of resource within a £100million business area for a new to market nutritional product. This opportunity is on a contract basis with an initial 6 month appointment.

Our client is a global, market leading pharmaceutical and healthcare organisation with extensive operations in the UK and Europe. A high profile role with a household and CV enhancing name!

The Role 
The brief for this role is to establish the overall brand strategy for a new to the market nutritional healthcare product. You will develop and deliver a 3-5 year business plan to ensure a profitable flow to the business; develop and deliver overall communication strategy to ensure one brand/one voice; create annual marketing plans in line with budget process and targets and drive consumer insights and understanding across the UK affiliate. You will be responsible for a team of 6 direct reports with an extended team of 21 including team motivation and development and a consumer facing budget of £10m with full mix communications including TV, press and digital advertising, social marketing, CRM and Careline programmes and teams. You will deliver planned activities on time and within costs agreed to ensure delivery of short and long term financial and market objectives while liaising with regional and global colleagues and projects.

Benefits -
An initial 6 month contract will be offered which may be extendable with a highly competitive rate based on experience.

Experience -
We require extensive consumer marketing experience with extensive ATL (Above the Line) exposure coupled with large multi-faceted brand leadership experience. You will have a proven track record of driving strategic thinking into action; strong commercial understanding and acumen; be capable of good relationship building internally and externally; have strong analytical skills with the proven ability to turn data into insight plus a proven ability to manage and develop a large team.
