Senior Data Analyst Edinburgh £250 - £400 DOE
RZ Group are currently recruiting for a number of Senior Data Analysts for a large Financial Services Company in Edinburgh on Initial 6 month contracts.
The Data Migration team are responsible for the migration of finance data from existing platforms to the Oracle E-business suite.
* Providing requirements and solutions analysis into the delivery of an integrated General Ledger data migration approach.
* Support work streams through proactive engagement in requirements gathering, design solutions, testing and migration to production.
* Assist in the end to end development and execution of data migration activity.
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Manage business analysts, consultants and business resource for the life cycle of the implementation.
* Identify and manage dependencies with other work streams.
* Provides project management expertise following project governance processes.
Deliverables:
* Input into the delivery of Data Migration Approach documents, including detailed project plans and the management of Assumptions, Risks, Issue and Dependencies.
* Partner with Release 3 work streams, consultants and IT counterparts to ensure aligned delivery with the wider programme.
* Take responsibility for solution and conduct of reconciliation for migrated data.
* Proactive stakeholder, people and relationship management.
* Ensure the General Ledger migration solution is compatible with migration of sub ledger activity and consistent with post go live interfaces and other related activity.
Experience:
* Part/Qualified Accountant with significant experience on the Oracle E-business suite OR Proven Financial Acumen.
* Project experience/Business Analysis skills.
* Experience of Fixed Assets/Oracle Projects
* Functional knowledge of the Oracle E-business suite and related technology.
* Experience in automated reconciliation tool development is desirable.
Technical Knowledge:
* Experience in the and full project life cycle including documentation standards, risk modelling, change controls, quality frameworks and compliance.
* Familiarity with process modelling, workshop facilitation and business analysis.
* Proficient use of project tools eg MS Project, Microsoft Office
