This Financial Institution is seeking an experienced Vendor Management Officer to take responsibility for all aspects relating to temporary workers (contractors and PAYE). This includes but is not limited to aligning all temporary workers policies in the UK with other countries (Europe and USA), educating and supporting line managers and external agencies of the procurement process; meeting with internal clients to review their resourcing needs; negotiating contract rates; ensuring contracts are administrated as per global policy; maintaining source data for self-invoicing in Peoplesoft and provide management and status reports/updates as requested.

To be successful in this role you will have 3 years minimum experience of the following:
Recruitment process experience particularly temporary workers (contractors and PAYE) from an in-house perspective and have dealt with external agencies.
Have a clear understanding of local market rates, supplier margins and contractor terms.
Basic understanding of relationship databases with the ability to learn Peoplesoft HRMS and Oracle iProcurement.
Working with financial sector clients or similar
Microsoft Office environment including Access, Excel, etc
Strong inter-personal skills, relationship building skills, working with little supervision and self motivation.
