Job title: Wayleave Manager
Please only apply if you have a current visa to work in South Africa or have experience as a WAYLEAVE MANAGER in South Africa for approximately 3 years

Duration: 6 months contract can be extendable
Location: Johannesburg (with travel around South Africa)
Wayleave Manager: Reporting To: Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all wayleaves' and EIA's obtained from Customer is according to South African legislation
- To assist Customer with wayleave applications
- To engage with SANRAL, Local Municipalities, Government Departments and all other relevant authorities.
- To assist draughtsman with drawings needed for wayleave applications
- Complete wayleave applications and submit the application and drawings to relevant authority or utility holder
- To follow up on the status of wayleave applications
- Arrange site meetings with the authorities and/or the utility holders if they want to visit the site
- Monitor the construction process to ensure that the construction adhere to the wayleave conditions
- Get authorization from the relevant authority if there is a need to deviate from the original wayleave
- Apply for extension of time for the wayleave if needed
- Invite and inspect the sign-off of wayleave with the relevant authority
- Close off wayleave.
- The candidate must have a Degree level of Education
