Ihre Aufgaben:
- Strategic and technical consulting tasks for international operators in the telecommunication sector
- Networks in the following fields:
- Future proof copper based access technologies
- Active and passive optical fiber access technologies
- Optical transmission systems
- Development of strategic concepts for the implementation of NGN fixed access visions for our customers
- High affinity to other NGN fields (e.g. NGOSS, NGN Core)
- Evaluation and optimization of existing networks and technologies and identification of potential migration opportunities towards NGN architectures
- Definition of technical standards for our customers
- Preparation of tender/RFI/RFP specification and implementation of tendering/RFP process
Ihre Qualifikation
- Master or bachelor degree, preferably in telecommunications
- First or broad experience (depending on the career level) in the telecommunication sector (network operator or supplier)
- Profound knowledge in the field of TDM- and IP based transport networks
- Excellent knowledge in access network technologies
- Knowledge in risk analysis and network safety aspects
- Relevant knowledge in following areas:
- Broadband access technology (e.g. DSL, GPON)
- IP based transmission systems
- Metro Ethernet
- Traditional (TDM) switching technologies, including signaling aspects
- Profound analytical and conceptual abilities
- Very good skills in communication and presentations, customer oriented attitude
- Team abilities and openness to other cultures (environmental, business)
- Very good command of Russian, German and English languages, preferable knowledge of further language
- Travel readiness (short- or long-term assignments in different countries)
