This organisation, located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, has been growing rapidly since its inception in 2005. In this newly created role, they are looking for a Project Manager to work in a fixed term hire till June 2012. You will apply Project Management discipline to the coordination, management and support of projects to ensure business outcomes are delivered on time, are fit-for-purpose and are in line with the agreed work programs.
The role will see you:
- Utilising project management delivery processes, tools and methods....Prince 2
- Shaping and scoping target delivery outcomes and associated project, budget and resource plans.
- Providing hands on Project Management for the ongoing tracking and management of work.
- Proactively identifying, analysing and developing appropriate responses to issues and risks.
- Participation in planning with Senior Project Managers and the PMO, including working with other Project Managers to ensure the necessary cross-team and cross-group coordination takes place.
You will bring to the role:
- Solid experience as a Project Manager managing software or business projects, along with exposure to the full SDLC.
- Current formal qualifications in Prince 2 at the Practitioner level, along with the use of Project Management methodologies and tools to deliver projects. .
- Previous experience gained in the Health sector along with having worked on Integration projects
- Ability to manage and work with a team, transferring knowledge and skills appropriately
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills - naturally including superior written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with a commitment to successful project delivery
- Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets.
