DESCRIPTION:
Our client requires the services of a webMethods Specialist, to provide deliverables including, but not limited to, the following:
Design, build and unit test all webMethods integration components.
Document business process details and fields mapping between relevant applications
Develop high quality program code and webMethods configurations within aggressive timetables, provide significant input to the establishment of technologies, system investments, and collaborate with other internal system organizations to resolve complex technical issues.
Establish data mapping, identify and create error message structure, data transformation, and implement appropriate business rules in a webMethods environment.
Develop detailed design specification of the adapter and appropriate interfaces.
Provide configuration management, debugging, and maintenance of webMethods EAI solution.
Participate in all Systems integration Testing; write and validate test cases, resolve production defects and verify adherence to quality plans and requirements.
Design appropriate reports and documentation to hand over to maintenance staff.
Mandatory Technical Requirements
Specialist must have five to seven (5-7) years experience in webMethods systems integration in a Windows environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
University/Community College degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or equivalent a definite asset. Certification in Software Quality Engineering or equivalent a definite asset.
Minimum of five (5) years working experience with Web Services, XML/XSLT, Java, JDBC, JNDI, LDAP, J2EE, Crystal Reports, and Oracle databases.
Five to seven (5-7) years working experience in system analysis, design, development using software development life cycle (SDLC).
Five to seven (5-7) years experience with PL/SQL and Oracle database in a Windows environment.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Technical Capabilities:
Solid experience in providing business support for complex systems and applications and consulting services to clients for the analysis of new business processes.
Working experience in a wide range of integration of applications and design, transaction management technologies, and software version control technologies.
Clear understanding of Business Requirements, Statement of Work, and Test Strategies as they apply to projects. Solid understanding of System Development Life Cycle and other methodologies such as RUP.
Thorough understanding of a Windows Client Server development Environment of Web based applications.
Experience using Automated Testing tools such as Mercury Test tools, Loadrunner, Test Director, etc.
Demonstrated Working knowledge of Windows NT/XP and MS Office 2003 and 2007 including MS Access.
Demonstrated working experience with Oracle Database Technologies
