Informatica Technical Team Leader - Informatica/Kimball - Banking
My Banking client is looking for an experienced Informatica Technical Team Leader to work on their Informatica Data Integration project. You will be responsible for the design and development of new ETL processes as necessary for on-going report developments, Maintain and update existing ETL process to reflect changing data structures in source systems or changing business needs, Review business requirements to aid the identification of ETL requirements for on-going DW projects, Produce ETL design documentation, Adhere to defined standards for all developed components, Test and implement new ETL processes, Participate in and lead design and development review, Work with the BI Manager to prioritise and schedule the workload across the DI support team, Ensure support documentation is produces and maintained for all developments, Work with the BI Manager and DW Technical Architect on defining ETL Best Practice, Review and improve performance of ETL processes where necessary, Work with the BI Manager, DW Technical Architect and Systems Integration team to share ownership of metadata management, including new developments in this important area, Work with system owners to resolve source data issues and refine transformation rules, Undertake other tasks, within skill set, as directed by management and Technical Lead for their Informatica Data Integration project.
It is expected that you will have at least 5 years recent systems integration development, implementation and support experience which will include extensive experience of Informatica 8.1.1 or above. Your experience will also include sound Oracle PL/SQL knowledge and experience. It is also expected that you will have a good understanding of Kimball methodology and Star Schema design skills.
