Description
Interim Group Financial Accountant sought for a 4 Months contract opportunity based in The City of London. This is an opportunity for a high calibre, motivated and reliable individual to join the Group Finance team on a short term contract to complement and add value to the Group's Financial Reporting department. The successful candidate will be an important member of the Financial Reporting team and the wider Global Business Management team, which includes the Group's key corporate functions including Group Finance, Legal, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role provides an ideal opportunity to input into plc external reporting and other financial reporting streams. It provides regular exposure to the Group's senior management (particularly the Group CFO/Acting CEO) and all the key members of Finance teams around the Group.
The core requirements of the role include supporting:
- Managing the consolidation, analysis and reporting of the Group financial results.
- The year end reporting processes (primarily external, but may include internal management information).
- Preparation of the Group statutory accounts.
- The audit process at group, and where necessary across subsidiaries within the Group.
- Integrity of Hyperion HFM consolidation system.
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills:
- ACA/CIMA qualified with plc financial reporting experience.
- Experience with Group consolidation systems.
- Experience of HFM would be ideal, but not required.
- Self starter.
- Strong communication skills.
- IFRS expertise.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to build relationships and trust with management of all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet specified deadlines
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
