We are seekig a Sr. Director of Strategy and Platform Management for our client in Reston, VA.

Will manage and help lead the vision, implementation, adoption and enhancements of enterprise-wide identity platforms. The Enterprise Platforms department provides identity capabilities for a range of technology projects impacting all units of our client.

The Director/Platform Manager will help set the vision and oversee key aspects of the enterprise-wide identity platform, including both custom and COTS identity capabilities. The Director will also seek out and validate opportunities to leverage the platform to create new products and services that support the mission of our client both internally and externally.

The candidate must be an innovative, big-picture-thinking Platform Manager to help us inform and develop our identity management services. As a service provider our identity management platform is the critically important front-door to interact with us throughout the lifecycle of our program.
We are looking for a Platform Manager to interface with the business units to understand their plans and goals for user interaction, prioritize those goals, and translate them into implementable functionality in the Oracle Identity Management suite.
The ideal candidate will have managed an Identity Management program, spent more than 5 years interacting with business units to understand technical need, assisted or led program budgeting and forecasting in relation to identity services, and managed or interacted with the technical development team to implement program goals and new capabilities.
An Oracle identity management infrastructure is in place with core access control capabilities and we are looking for a Platform Manager to drive innovation and usage of the new system to meet our vision for user services.

Education/Experience: CISSP or CISA highly desirable.

Ten years experience with the inception, development, and implementation of COTS identity platforms, including five to seven years of project management experience with business unit of major development projects. Significant experience with applying knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to a broad range of life-cycle activities in order to meet the requirements for technical projects and process improvement initiatives is a must.

Expertise in COTS Identity tool large-scale implementation is absolutely required. Knowledge and experience working with Authentication, Authorization, Provisioning and Federation capabilities required. Oracle Identity Management experience preferred.

Experience in full-lifecycle identity management implementation required. Large-scale customer access management using COTS products (Oracle, Sun, CA or IBM) strongly preferred. Experience with negotiating Federation across business partners desirable.
