Position Description:
This is highly responsible work maintaining and maturing wiki/web presence and has a key understanding of Social Media within a corporate environment and multimedia. Will be responsible for creation of design, testing and maintenance of wiki/web sites, pages and applications. Will report directly to and take direction from the manager. Will work with internal departments to provide deliverables required for the successful completion of assignments. Requirements at times will be meeting frequently with departments before and during project, ascertain requirements, and train staff in the proper adoption, usage and maintenance of wiki/web pages.
General duties:
Demonstrated experience in web development including knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience building web sites from concept through deployment. Experience managing multiple projects, including managing timelines and tracking tasks. Good understanding of template based design. Current with web design, Usability and development best practices. Experience working with brand and/or design guidelines. Project Management skills. Flash skills; intermediate to expert. Participates in cross-functional groups to gather functional requirements, document workflow, project deliverables, and track development tasks. Work can include conducting analysis of client business processes, functional requirements and prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. Partners with KP Web Administrators to test and move developed applications into production; offering best practices, adoption of Social Media practices and advising on all aspects of wiki/web development from technology to functionality to graphics. Ensures that wiki/web designs attract attention, hold audience interest, communicate effectively and present a professional, quality image of Kaiser Permanente. Knows and implements corporate identity standards.
Experience Level: 6+ Years.
Skill Set:
Must be proficient in current HTML standards and aware of the differences between all the HTML version standards as adopted by the W3C, as well as future W3C standards, which are constantly being developed. Must have basic proficiency in JavaScript, DHTML, and XML.
Must be able to write Server Side dynamic web pages such as Active Server Pages (ASP), ASPX using VBScript/VB. Must know how to optimize all formats for online viewing.
Must be proficient in:
Confluence Wiki, overall Wiki architecture, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Microsoft FrontPage, Microsoft Visual Interdev, Visual Studio.NET, Notepad, Must be able to have a comprehensive knowledge to write and debug code in straight text format.
Top 3-5 must have skills: develop, maintain and mature wiki/web presence;
Top 3-5 daily responsibilities: web development, client support and developments, reporting
