Our major Financial Services client is urgently seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to assist with preparations for Solvency II and in particular with the development and rollout of the new risk management framework and tools. You will also provide support with analysis presentation and report preparation.

The successful candidate will have: Operational Risk/ERM experience in the Financial Services Sector, Ability to identify and act on the interconnectedness of issues arising for the business, In depth experience in analysis and report writing on complex technical issues, High IT literacy, with advanced MS Project and Powerpoint skills and ideally with some access database experience.

Any experience gained within Life/Pensions/Insurance sector will be of particular interest as would any experience in regulatory compliance with a prudential/financial regulatory focus.

You will work closely with subject matter experts to co-ordinate and drive forward projects and activities and to support the company's preparations for EU Solvency II so strong interpersonal and team working skills as well as excellent written communications and presentation skills are essential.

The role is to commence ASAP but applications are welcome from suitably qualified candidates who are available at any time between now and the beginning of January 2012. The role will be primarily based on the client site in Buckinghamshire with visits to their London office as required. Please send CV ASAP for consideration and further information.
