Team requires a Sr. Business Intelligence Manager to oversee a small team developing reports using SAS. This is a hands on role and the candidate will be expected to both oversee design, development, and testing along with participating in the report development process including writing designs or performing development or testing tasks as needed. The candidate should have experience in extracting, transforming and loading source data into an Operational Data Store or Datawarehouse from multiple sources including major DBMS and application system transaction files, third-party software packages and spreadsheet applications. Strong familiarity with Oracle database environments is preferred. Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing and optimizing SAS products within existing infrastructures (Windows and AIX). Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholder: technical and end-user, staff and management.
Essential Skills Required:- Experience implementing reports in one of the major BI platforms (Business Objects, Cognos, Oracle OBIE, SAS, etc.) - 5+ years
- Small Team management experience (2-5 resources) - 2 years
- Strong SQL and database skills (preferably with Oracle v 10g and above) - 2+ years
- Datamodelling experience, particularly with MultiDimensional structures (OLAP) - 2+ years
- Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholder: technical and end-user, staff and management.
Preferred Skills
-Strong familiarity with Oracle database environments.
-Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing and optimizing SAS products within existing infrastructures (Windows and AIX).
- SAS V9.2 platform experience (Metadata management using Management Console; Base SAS Language Programming; Report Writing using a variety of Procedures and Tools including use of ODS, Enterprise Guide, Information Map Studio, and Web Report Studio; ETL and Data Mart design using DI Studio)
