About the Company/Position:
This Global organisation and leader in technology requires an experienced Wintel Engineer to join there projects team. Working in a talented team of Engineers PMs and Designers you will help contribute to the design, implementation and then handover to the BAU teams for a variety of Server Infrastructure projects. You will act in both a technical and coordination role in the solution construction, implementation and handover to BAU of Intel Servers.
Responsibilities:
- Applying specific product, technology and industry related specialised skills to proposals, requirements, designs, implementations, production projects and engagements.
- Drawing upon concepts of tools, technologies and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned duties.
- Recognising and articulating job related problems to management.
- Analysing technical problems and creating solutions involving the use of existing techniques and/or tools.
- Performing assigned tasks in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Preparing and recommending technical alternatives involving technology, methodology, tools, processes and solution components.
- Assisting the Project Manager by providing a technical project coordination role.
- Abiding by Change Management and Problem Management procedures, including complying with the Service Level Agreements as documented in the Problem Severity Matrix
- To assume higher roles and responsibilities if and when required.
Required Skills:
- Experience working in Enterprise organisations
- Extensive Windows Administration experience
- Strong Citrix and VMware experience
- MCITP certified - preferred
- ITIL certified - preferred
