Description
Leading supplier of satellite and wireless communications products and services is actively looking for Systems Engineers to work a long term contract in the Atlanta area.
Provides Systems Engineering support in the development of both satellite-based and terrestrial telecommunication systems. Systems will include gateway earth stations, flyaway terminals, and mobile terminals. Will design and execute systems projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
Systems design and calculations
Specification of technical requirements to Manufacturing, R&D, and Purchasing
Development of systems documentation, test procedures and training manuals
Supervision of systems assembly and verification of system performance
Specification, inspection, and planning of shipments
Interface and coordination with Logistics for shipments
Coordinate and supervise (if appropriate) the on-site integration and commissioning of these systems
Customer presentations and technical discussions
On-going program technical support
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
4+ years experience in satellite or communications systems engineering and design
Knowledge of small and large antenna systems
BSEE/BSET degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software
Solution-oriented, multi-tasking, and self-motivated
