Description
Alpharetta industry leader is looking for a senior-level Cisco Network Engineer. In this 6 month plus contract role based at the global data center, you will be involved in troubleshooting, capacity planning, and network design for a large enterprise environment. To be a fit for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field along with 8-10 years of experience. Cisco CCNP Routing and CCVP certification are a huge plus.
Skills and Competencies:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Strong knowledge of Cisco VOIP Products and Avaya PBX.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Voice Network/Telecom Experience; 5+ years; VoIP. Troubleshooting, Voice capacity planning and Voice Network Design. QoS Understanding and Configuration. Advanced Network Engineering Experience (Routing & Switching). Cisco 5+ years Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager. Cisco Voicemail 3+ years Unity/Unity Connection. Call center support 4+ years (Call routing, IVR, Automated Attendant, reporting, CVP script maintenance). Experience troubleshooting telecommunications equipment and technologies including TDM, T1, ISDN, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.
