One of the world's leading financial institutions is seeking an experienced Customer Communications Writer to work within a major PPI programme (Group Legal and Compliance Change).

The customer communications writer reports to directly into the Workstream Lead - Proactive Delivery. The primary responsibility of the communications writer will be to prepare customer collateral (letters and websites) of a regulatory/compliance nature.

We are looking for an individual with at least three years experience, specifically:

  • Hands on experience preparing customer communications that adhere to regulatory directives
  • Compliance background to understand the directives from the Financial Services Authority
  • Ability to translate regulatory directives into customer communications
  • Comfortable writing to customers explaining the purpose of the communication and call to action in simple (yet compliant) terms
  • Able to outline a complex communication in a written, easy to read format
  • Self starter and able to work in a fast paced team environment expecting to receive input from multiple areas

Skills

  • Understanding the retail banking markets
  • Excellent writing/editing skills and prior financial/compliance writing (3 to 5 years)
  • Organisational skills and ability to work with diffrerent functional groups
  • Solid initiative and track record of completing projects on time
  • Attention to detail
