Our major Financial Services client is urgently seeking an experienced Regulatory Risk & Compliance Monitoring Manager to join them on a contract basis to work out of their Buckinghamshire offices.The main purpose of the role is to assist the Head of Regulatory Risk and Compliance in the development and delivery of the Risk & Compliance Monitoring Framework. This will include monitoring, challenging and reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures and controls put in place to ensure compliance with relevant business and regulatory requirements, and to ensure timely and appropriate remedial action is taken to address any deficiencies identified.
You will bring extensive experience of Regulatory Risk & Compliance monitoring from within the Financial Services industry (Life and Pensions experience whilst not essential would be of particular interest). You will also have good knowledge of the current regulatory environment, including FSA requirements, and working methods together with relevant product and technical knowledge so as to be able to undertake risk-based monitoring reviews across a wide range of areas.
