JOB SUMMARY:
This position is required to enable the business to develop its analytical capabilities to support its operational objectives. This position will manage projects from requirements development through to presentation of results. The specific analytical support channels are:

1) Business Management
a) Pipeline Develop, measure and report to the business key performance metrics (eg throughput, timeline compression, survival/fail rates, yields, work in process) on daily/weekly/monthly basis. Primary area of focus will be Loss Mitigation.
b) Collection Strategy Work with Contact Management, Pipeline Operations, Research, and Portfolio Management to develop, measure and report performance metrics and business guidelines to optimize the business collections strategy
c) Campaign Management Assist in the development and impact assessment of campaigns under consideration and will monitor the effectiveness of existing campaigns on portfolio performance
d) Credit Performance Provide macro/micro analytics and logistics to the business on platform improvements/optimization to support credit performance incentives objectives
e) Operational Reporting & Data Warehouse Development Provide technical subject matter expertise/data support for adhoc, exception and regular business cycle reporting. Will also support Portfolio Managements participation in IT/IMPACT/data warehouse efforts as well as data QC
2) Client Support
a) Provide client reporting in support of the monthly PAR cycle and other client requests specific to Loss Mitigation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works at the direction of a manager within the group and may have indirect reporting lines to operating team managers. Responsible for leading analysis projects and/or contributing to larger projects through support activities and discrete elements of analysis. Accountable for individual and team results and impact of the results on functional activities. Utilize expertise to advise people outside the department or function, sometimes solving problems where no precedent exists. Typically act as subject matter exerts or are on a path to become SMEs in one or more areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong analytical skills experience developing, explaining and presenting reports and/or analytical models
Ability to prioritize multiple (sometimes competing) requests and optimize delivery with goal of customer satisfaction
Ability to collaborate and work with people of varying backgrounds and levels of expertise, exercise diplomacy in communication of difficult concepts
Outstanding problem solving skills
Comfortable with complexity and navigating sometimes conflicting requirements
Ability to work in a rapidly moving, dynamic environment
Team player with ability to collaborate across business partners - internal, external and third party

2-5 years experience in a mortgage, analysis, financial, servicing or credit related role
Expert level in Excel and PowerPoint
At least 1 year SQL query building experience
Visio experience
Strong presentation skills and presence
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters in Business Administration
2 plus years SQL query building experience
People management experience
