Our client, a leading Fund Manager based in Edinburgh has commissioned us to recruit two Investment Accountants to join their Client Accounting team. You will join a team charged with providing first rate administrative support to both internal departments and your allocated external clients.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining account information in line with regulations cash and securities reconciliation
and income/schedule preparation.
Ensuring information is accurate and distributed in a timely and professional manner.
Maintaining regular contact with clients and stakeholders ensuring any issues are
addressed in line with service levels.
Recommending changes and improvements to process and contributing to company projects.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate previous experience of Investment Accounting/Administration as well as an interest and understanding of the wider investment market, to have studied or be willing to work towards the IOC would be advantageous. You'll combine excellent accuracy and numeric skills with good relationship building and communication ability.
The role would suit someone with previous experience of the above who is keen to develop their skills but can also contribute to the ongoing development of the wider team and department. My client's flat structure means you will gain exposure to a wide section of the business where your skills will be recognised and developed not lost amongst the numbers.
