Project Description:
Automation programming for supporting system integration, Reference build outs and testing in a lab environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
Task automation (Scripting, Programming) and procedure documentation for:
. OEM server Provisioning and Configuration - BIOS/FW updates, Linux and VMM image Build, Catalog, and Restore
. Server management: Inventory Tracking and Reporting, Event Monitoring and Alerting, etc.
. Testing automation per server workload and use cases Writing scripts and programs to enable systems integration
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
1. Expert in Scripting and programming for task automation on Linux server platforms.
2. Proficient knowledge and work experience in Linux and VMM image build and configuration for servers.
3. Knowledge on server management solution implementations such as power management, resource monitoring, etc.
4. Good verbal and written communication skill. Proactive work status communication and willingly document set up procedures and automation scripts.
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
1. Experience with server power management and IPMI programming.
2. Experience with enterprise Data Center infrastructure implementations and operations.
3. Experience with industrial networking and storage solution implementations.
