Link Technologies is looking for a Sr. Program Analyst for a client project located in the Carson City, NV area for a 5 month contract assignment beginning immediately. Remote work will not be considered as must be full time on site.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The vision of the Client's Business Portal is to create a single-point of access, Web-based Portal, for businesses to interact and communicate seamlessly with the Client across agencies.
The Portal will be independent of any participating agency's existing application, database, operating system, or platform. The Portal must be capable of interfacing with any participating agency's existing application, database, operating system, and platform.
The Client's Business Portal is a service oriented web based application which is built on the latest technology stack of products that provide multiple integration mechanisms. The various technologies used in the Client's Business Portal include Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g application infrastructure products like Java, WebLogic Server, SOA, Business Process Management (BPM), BPEL, Identity Management, and Oracle 11g Clustered Database and development and testing tools like JDeveloper, Bugzilla, SOAPUI and version control tool Subversion (SVN), Designing tools like Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Visio.
SCOPE OF WORK
Consultants must perform all activities to the agreed upon project plan/schedule. Under the supervision of the Client's IT Manager the consultants will develop Portal-related functionality as directed and as meets the business and technical requirements of the project.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
As web developers, the SPAs will be responsible for the implementation of improvements and enhancements to the Client's Business Portal. The consultants will be assisting the business to define their needs and effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications and application design. The consultants should have excellent technical and analytical skills.
The consultants will be responsible for the following:
Design and implementation of new features for the Client's Business Portal;
Maintenance and enhancement of existing Client's Business Portal features;
Creation of technical specifications and work with lead developers; and
Identification and development improvements for the applications performance.
The consultants must have the following qualifications:
BS in computer science or equivalent, Masters is a plus
Five (5) plus years professional experience using web technologies, such as SOA, J2EE, Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, JSF, WSDL, XML, HTML, XSD, XSLT, AJAX, SOAPUI, web services, BPEL, BPM; Experience with SQL and database concepts;
Experience with version control tools like SVN, CVS;
Experience in using IDEs;
Experience in Windows, Linux operating environments;
Certification in Java is a plus;
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA concepts, Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), BPM Suite and Exposure to Oracle applications is a plus;
J2EE Experience:
Experience with Web Development using JSP, HTML, CSS, Java and supporting tools;
Experience with J2EE, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Apache CXF, Hibernate frameworks;
Experience in databases like Oracle, MySQL;
Experience in developing Web Services; and
Good knowledge of XSL, WSDL, XSLT and other XML technologies.
DELIVERABLES
Consultants must provide the following based on the agreed upon project plan/schedule.
Develop SOA composites;
Write web services;
Develop web pages;
Debug and develop J2EE MVC application;
Develop technical documentation;
Convert business requirements to technical specifications; and
Bi-weekly status reports to include, but not be limited to:
Overall completion status of the project in terms of the approved project plan and schedule;
Problems that were encountered and proposed/actual resolutions;
Issues that need to be addressed;
Accomplishments during the period; and
Activities to be accomplished during the next reporting period.
TRAVEL
