Description
1 year plus contract for an ODS (Operational Data Store) Workstream Lead. Must be able to provide business and technical expertise to support Project management, financial controls and process improvements. Ideal candidate will have Smart Grid project experience or NGDR project experience.
The ODS Workstream Lead supports project and stakeholder management by:
Monitoring, collecting, and maintaining data for the project work stream plan.
Maintaining, tracking and resolving of project issues and action items.
Collecting, reviewing, and maintaining project plan and schedule data, working in conjunction with Project Scheduler and Project Manager.
Reviewing and analysing actual project costs and hours.
Elevating risk triggers to Project Manager.
Documenting and monetizing emerging project risks.
Coordinating dependencies with other work streams, including IT, testing, quality assurance, and change management.
Estimating, planning and documenting of emerging project work resulting from change requests.
Updating and maintaining living project documents.
Reporting status on a regular basis in the form of reports and PowerPoint presentations.
The ODS Workstream Lead supports business process management by:
Maintaining and reviewing business process documentation.
Maintaining and reviewing functional business requirements.
Ensuring traceability of project scope and functional requirements to technical requirements.
Validating required reports, system interfaces, data conversions, and system enhancements for the project.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
3 to 5 years of job-related experience.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Demonstrated utility project experience or IT application development project experience.
