Description
A large FMCG company located near Watford is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team for a 9 month maternity cover contract.
The current incumbent is due to go on leave in January and the team require a handover period. Key responsibilities in this role will include making payments, managing cashflow, maintaining the fixed asset register, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, monthly financial reporting including balance sheet and P&L accounts and assisting the finance manager with the performance of other duties as required.
The successful candidate for this role must have experience in the areas listed above and will ideally be studying at the finalist level of either their ACCA or CIMA qualification and must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. This company uses SAP as their primary financial system so experience of using SAP or another ERP system would be advantageous.
