Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a candidate with a Product Control/Product Accounting background to work as an MI Development Manager within the Group Corporate Treasury Department (GCT) of an International Investment Bank based in the City of London. The objective of this role is to develop a detailed P&L and Balance Sheet by trading packages using Excel and Business Objects in order to create professional reporting to enable General Ledger review and presentations to senior management.
The role holder will be accountable for:
*Analysis of the business conducted by GCT by product type, by desks, books and packages (security + hedge + repos)
*Delivery of professional reports in the format of PL and BS from the source systems using excel and Business Objects.
*Assist with the automation of the reporting
*Assist with answering technical questions with the reporting.
The applicant must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong Excel and Systems skills (feeds and reconciliations) and excellent knowledge of treasury products, (gilts, repos, money markets, swaps). An ability to model and design reports and Good presentation skills are also essential to joining this small and highly efficient, high profile team.
