Description
Experis is seeking candidates for a Configuration Management Analyst opening (long term contract) in Montgomery, AL. Contract will run for approximately 2 years. The individual will provide technical support and oversight guidance for the configuration management of documentation and software using the PVCS CM tool, Merant Tracker, HP Quality Center test support tool. The individual most have hands-on detailed understanding of the tools and possess strong communication and team building skills. The hands-on experience must include documenting Requirements (SCRs and DRs), creating test Scripts, testing, actively working with Quick Test Pro, PVCS Merant Tracker , developing test scripts, tracking requirements and problem reports to specific test documentation.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience preferred. 5-7 years of related experience acceptable in lieu of a degree. Experience, education, or training which demonstrates the applicant's ability to interpret, clarify and explain the HP Quality Center tool suite along with PVCS/PVCS Merant Tracker.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
(1) Experience working software development projects providing guidance and insight to configuration management and testing process;
(2) Hands-on experience with Quick Test Professional (a must), PVCS CM tool, Merant Tracker, HP Quality Center test support tool
(3) Experience following System Engineering Process (SEP)
(4) Experience which demonstrates the ability to communicate with others.
