We are looking for depth of experience in fostering and adoption and Service Management. For this reason, to operate at the top of performance on service management we will be looking for someone who has performed well at and above this level. To provide strategic leadership and operational management within the Children, Young People & Families Division for Fostering and Adoption Services, ensuring that all services comply with statute and regulatory requirements and that they meet the demand identified in the placement commissioning strategy. To ensure through the development of the Councils approach to placement commissioning that directly managed placement services provide a high quality, cost effective and appropriate range of placements to meet the diverse needs of children & young People Looked After by NCC and that sufficient high quality adoptive placements are available so that children looked after have the best possible chance of achieving permanence. Also to ensure that these placements are supported to prevent breakdown wherever possible.

Professional Qualification in Social Work (Degree or Diploma). Car Driver Registration with General Social Care Council. Evidence of further professional development
