My client requires a Change and Communications Manager to work for Sub-Surface & Wells discipline for the Upstream technology team of a large commodities organisation. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of the project change management plan that will support the project to successfully implement the IFDB solution across the Upstream segment. The primary focus is to ensure the readiness of the business to adopt the IFDB solution through effective change management interventions ie communications, training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Pre-engagement information gathering, goal, objectives and mission
  • Stakeholder analysis and management
  • Leadership engagement
  • Create an overarching engagement strategy and plan
  • Create messaging and manage delivery of it
  • Define channels to disseminate the collateral
  • Package the material into collateral
  • Put checks in place to measure effectiveness of communications

Candidates must have knowledge of the following:

  • Extensive experience of working on IT enabled business change/transformation programmes in a Communications Manager Role.
  • Experience of developing and executing comms management strategies and plans to support the business to successfully transition from old to news ways of working
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying and analysing stakeholders to understand impacts and change management interventions required ie communications, training
  • Development and execution of communications strategies
  • Development and execution of training strategies through the training life cycle
  • Must possess excellent stakeholder management skills to be able to engage and communicate with the business to gain buy-in and support for the deployment
  • Role mapping to support new processes/workflows and systems
  • Completion of business readiness assessments to ensure successful implementation
  • Proven experience of influencing stakeholders at a senior level
  • Development of engagement strategies to enable successful implementation and deployment
  • Proven experience of establishing governance structures to support deployment of IT solutions across different regions globally
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical teams across a broad range of IT disciplines and geographies.
  • Development of training strategies, training needs analysis through to training delivery
