Our client is a global organization, based in London, and looking for a Global Market Data Business Administrator to join this reputable firm. This role will require interaction with the Business, application owners, end-users and will involve displacement opportunities and data analysis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accuracy within the global market data team
  • Liaise with MDSL to provide updated inventory, corporate data, user information, vendor accounts, pricing, and services within MDM
  • Working with the global Market Data team and Global Market Data Manager to identify cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure that all relevant contractual information is current within MDM and advise MDSL of changes on a monthly basis.
  • Working with the global MDS team to produce and verify vendor and exchange declarations.
  • Working with regional teams to resolve billing issues across all vendors
  • Working with the Global Market Data Manager and Team Leader to identify and implement agreed desk profiles globally.
  • Report on monthly cost variances at a global level.
  • Perform permissioning through DACS and related systems on a global basis.
  • Global DACS administration to ensure consistency and mitigate risk
  • Work with the Global Market Data Manager and Team Lead to ensure compliance to exchange and vendor rules regarding the use of data.
  • Production of monthly reports to show data usage, number of users, cost reduction and cost variance in all regions.
  • Day to day running of RPM coupled with an understanding of the workflows involved.

Must Have:

  • In-depth experience of MDM and a thorough understanding of RPM.
  • Experience of exchange and vendor rules governing the use of data internally.
  • A full understanding and hands on experience of permissioning systems with specific reference to DACS 6.
  • Exposure to ITIL processes and procedures.
  • Competent in assessing end user requirements and interfacing with vendors at all levels.
  • Understanding of vendor billing policies.
  • Exposure to multiple charging models from vendors.
