My Security cleared/SC cleared based client is looking for a Contract Officer/Commercial Requirement Officer/Contract and Commercial Requirement Officer/Security Cleared Contract Officer/Security Cleared Commercial Requirement Officer/Security Cleared Contract and Commercial Requirement Officer to take on a contract that will run until the end of the financial year.
This Contract Officer/Commercial Requirement Officer/Contract and Commercial Requirement Officer/Security Cleared Contract Officer/Security Cleared Commercial Requirement Officer/Security Cleared Contract and Commercial Requirement Officer role will be to provide commercial support in the placing of requirements and contracts through my client's and MOD processes, using FATS and Defence based contracting skills. The Commercial Officer will also provide procurement and commercial service within their delegated authority limits ensuring contracts and suppliers meet my client's needs for operational and contractual delivery.
The Commercial Officer will also support the management of procurements through the development and implementation of effective contracts with appropriate suppliers, considering internal needs and supply market characteristics.
The contractor will also be expected to use and understand a range of EU compliant procurement routes and tools as appropriate, making use of effective procurement approaches and processes.
The contractor will also provide direct commercial support and advice as appropriate to customers within my client's Depts and Functions
As a part of the role there will also be an element of Contract Management where required.
Please note that due to the nature of the wok, all candidates must have SC/Security Clearance prior to start date.
