Description
Client seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for a 3 month contract. As a Systems Engineer, you will handle basic and advanced Microsoft Windows-related solutions. Duties include planning and implementing Windows-related infrastructure; providing technical guidance and training for co-workers; determining system requirements and proposing solutions; documenting Windows designs; supporting capacity management processes; and making recommendations for changes where appropriate. All work is to be done in accordance with Windows Engineering best practices and CIT policies & procedures. Qualified candidates should have a 4 year degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience and 8+ years experience in the planning, design, implementation and troubleshooting of Windows systems, VMware clusters, SQL Server clusters, storage migration (Server Side), and Citrix clusters.
