Lawrencevile client seeks a QA Manual Web Tester.
Pay Rate: 43.00/Hr
Principal Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain software test plans, test designs, test documentation and test harness.
- Extend the technological expertise of the test team; research,utilize, and apply state-of-the-art testing tools and practices.
- Work with Software Process team to implement software process improvements.
- Work with Customer Support, Software Development and Community Development to resolve product related anomalies.
- Technical review of project and product documentation, tutorials, and support materials.
- Complete other Software Quality Assurance tasks as assigned.
- Required Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of technical experience in software product testing or development.
- Thorough understanding and experience applying state-of-the-art software testing methods, strategies, concepts, and tools.
- Experience with software development life cycles and product metrics.
- Software QA or Software Development experience: Database or Web testing or development experience.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Can work independently and in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading or training test engineers.
- Experience defining and implementing product metrics.
- Experience with GUI testing.
- Experience with software configuration management systems.
- Experience with automated test tools, such as Mercury.
- QuickTest Pro.
