Role Summary
Strategic Data Analysts are required to perform investigation into the availability and quality of data for the 2012 and 2013 Stress Testing model build programme, which is at the core of the new capability.
Specific Specifications
Investigate potential sources of data for the portfolio and evaluate against requirements. Work with IT and business systems experts to find alternative sources.
Document data requirements and definitions using a standard methodology and work with SAS Data Specialist and SAS Modellers to document and prioritise data availability issues.
Build relationships with the IT and business system experts and SAS Data Specialists and SAS Modellers in the Stress Testing and Modelling programmes to share knowledge and take a coordinated approach to the analysis.
Facilitate discussions to agree the optimal approach to each portfolio model build based on data strengths and weaknesses.
Obtain and package (ie validate, manipulate, aggregate and document) the data from the identified source systems ready for modelling within a SAS environment. The data should be ready to be incorporated into the central database, including the necessary processing.
Managing and influencing business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of data requirements.
