Trainer/Change Management Lead

Remedy Upgrade/Service Catalog Org Change Mgmt, Communications and Training Lead
This person will serve as the organizational change management, training, and communications lead for the Remedy Upgrade/Service Catalog program for IT. The ideal candidate has extensive organizational change management experience and is willing to navigate between strategy and tactics to execute a broad scope for a multi-level audience with a very small dedicated team. Skill Set: Organizational change management strategy; instructional design; needs assessment and analysis; curriculum development; formative, summative and program evaluation; standup training; and technical writing.
Responsibilities would include:

1. Develops, implements, monitors and assesses change leadership strategies associated with organizational change. This includes change associated with organizational restructuring, organizational re-design, work team collaboration, teambuilding, problem identification and analysis, and risk mitigation management as well as continuous improvement and work process redesign. Works with management to help design and tailor change strategies to specific organizational and functional needs. Provides advice and consultation on strategies and provides assistance or brokers for assistance to help management lead their change efforts.

2. Designs and delivers appropriate change leadership strategies to include defining the change, determining organization readiness for change, designing the change strategy, implementing the strategy, identifying and mitigating risks associated with the change, developing appropriate reinforcement and stakeholder strategies as necessary to support the change.

3. Coaches managers and teams to help manage through change and works with teams to help in developing solutions to complex business problems. Coaches management of effective strategies in management meetings and may assist in meeting management and facilitation. Enables teams to explore continuous improvement strategies by working with teams to identify barriers to success, examining work processes and facilitating upgrades as necessary to achieve organizational improvement.

4. Collaborates with CLIENTIT Human Resources, CLIENT-IT Communications, client Learning Institute (CLIENTLI) and Corporate Organization Effectiveness to insure that change strategies employed are consistent with client Principles of Responsibility, HRO Hallmarks and CLIENT-IT Vision and Mission. Engages in facilitation of workshops and work sessions designed to help evolve the CLIENT-IT culture. Conducts internal assessments as necessary to determine readiness for change and collaborates with Human Resources and Communications in identifying appropriate tools and strategies to help with such assessments.

5. Provides periodic updates on organizational change interventions to the Program PMO and develops appropriate metrics to measure success of such interventions. Keeps required records and reports, and performs other duties as assigned.

6. Personally creates communications artifacts, training curriculum and materials, and change management deliverables as part of a hands-on small team. Must be willing to roll up sleeves and personally create project training, communication, and marketing artifacts that execute against the overall program change management strategy. Provides technical training and curriculum development for the organization. Conducts training programs. Writes course materials and develops training plans. Works with management to determine training goals.

Position Reports to: Remedy/Service Catalog Program Manager

Work Experience: Must possess 5 to 7 years experiences in change leadership, organizational change consulting, leading continuous improvement initiatives, business process management; and training and facilitation. The ideal candidate would possess an understanding and familiarity with Six Sigma and ITIL Methodology. Experience developing and implementing web-based, virtual training for a broad audience strongly preferred. Experience with large scale change management across geographically dispersed environments strongly preferred. Experience leveraging site champion and train the trainer models to advance organizational change preferred. Undergraduate degree or Masters in Organizational Behavior/Development preferred.

Qualifications: Must possess very strong verbal and written communications skills to help evolve the organization culture within client IT and the broader client organization. Must be a team player and possess very strong interpersonal management skills. The desired individual would be able to demonstrate critical and analytical thinking in order to help solve complex business problems. Must be a self starter and able to translate complex Information Technology terminology and synthesize it with business terminology to help create understanding for all stakeholders. Very experienced in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
