We are currently looking to recruit a Virtual Verification Application Engineer - High End Visualisation to work at our client site.
Department
Tools & Technologies are responsible for all aspects of the CAD, CAM, CAE and PIM (data management) toolset usage and support. Currently the team is implementing the next generation PLM1 tool set across the business
The Role
A Virtual Verification Methods & Support Specialist is required to develop the methods and IT system requirements for migration of client projects to the Next Generation PLM1 solution and to support users with application expertise during and after the migration.
Responsibilities include
- Development and documentation of methods for Virtual Verification applications within the PLM1 systems.
- To define the IT requirements for PLM1 development to support Client virtual verification process.
- Interface with other areas of the business, including; Product Creation, Manufacturing, Design & Marketing
- To provide end-user application and methods expertise.
The Person
The successful candidate should possess the following skills/qualifications (listed in order of importance):
- Experience of Autodesk and Alias/Showcase and Maya
- Experience of Adobe Production Premier suite
- Experience of CATIA V5 and CATIA ISD
- Experience in A Class Surface system development.
- Experience of providing end-user application and methods support
- Good communication skills, both face to face and telephone
- High level of project management skills and self motivation
