Service Integration Specialist

My client is a leading Financial Services organisation, they are seeking a Service Integration Specialist for a contract role based in Birmingham for a 3-6 month duration (rolling contract). This will start in mid January and the rate being offered is competitive.

Job Role

Service Integration Specialists are the centre of a collaborative, horizontal effort across the division- Transition to drive, lead and implement Process Improvement Initiatives working within a SEPG & Project Management Framework.

Service Integration specialists have the responsibility for governing & developing all 8 Transition processes using the company's approved framework & toolset(s). Service Integration specialists will maintain a strong knowledge of all Transition processes and ensure the processes are formally change controlled.

The Service Integration team will interface with the executive steering committee which consists of process owners and senior functional heads on a global scale. They will head up process working groups to deliver chartered process improvement initiatives for the executive committee.

Some areas currently requiring focus and expertise are:
*Industry best practice (ITIL, CMMI) Opportunities
*Effectiveness & Efficiency (LEAN) Opportunities
*Integration opportunities within the Transition Process Models.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Skills Are:
*Strong Experience in building process models - knowledge of Process Modeling tools (eg ADOit) would be advantageous
*Strong experience working within an ITIL aligned environment
*Experience in developing dash boarding & reporting to track projects and initiatives.
*Experience in CMMI for Services - Maturity assessments and maturity growth deliverables
*Experience in building & implementing Service Orientated operating models and building of Service Catalogues.
*Ability to build relationships with the wider stakeholder groups globally with the ability to steer, influence and deliver initiatives.
*Ability to foster strong cross process relationships between process leads/process owners and project managers to encourage sharing of process achievements, process development, & issues being experienced

Preferred Certifications

ITIL Intermediate Service Transition - (Expert Preferred)
