ONLINE BANKING TECH LEAD
The Online Banking Technical Lead is a strong technical leader with little or no development coding required, however a deep understanding of Technical Design and Application Architecture within an Internet solution environment.
The Technical Lead will be responsible and accountable for understanding, creating and owning the end to end solution for SunTrusts Online Banking product from design through to implementation.
This resource will correlate and create view of end to end impacts and aggregate contracts.
The successful candidate must demonstrate having worked at this level in the past in complex high profile Programs with large technical team, within a corporate environment.
The successful candidate will be able to direct other technical leads, as well as project teammates and vendors.
Is able to meet application project schedules while ensuring overall application system integrity.
Has the patience and aptitude to mentor and coach the technical team and key members to allow them to independently reach project milestones without constant oversight.
Must be able to work with geographically disperse team.
Candidate must be able to estimate projects with high level scope statements and document pertinent assumptions
Should be able to work with Architects and provide technical and process inputs to the Solution and integration Architecture
Is able to direct dev leads to complete project deliverables (Technical design, etc)
The ideal candidate will have:
6 years of Object Oriented development with 4 years of .NET experience and working knowledge on Java and web technologies (html, xml, css, javascript, flex/flash).
Must be familiar with Waterfall and Agile/Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodologies.
Should have a working knowledge of exposing and consuming web services and implementing web service clients, WSDL concepts and SOAP protocols
Knowledge of Relational Databases and have worked with Oracle or SQL Server or DB2
Should have a working knowledge of SOA design patterns and integration models
Should have a good understanding of Portal technology and integration of Portal with IDM systems
Should have a good understanding of Authentication technologies, SSL, Digital certificates and security concepts viz. Transport Layer Security, Message Layer Security, WS-* specifications
Understanding of web services security is desirable
Should understand the concept behind Use Cases and have basic analysis skills
A Bachelors Degree is preferred for this position, however candidates with commensurate experience will be considered.
