Data and voice Services Manager

90-120K plus bonus
Major Global company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data & Voice Services Manager to ensure delivery of the LAN/WAN and telecomm services. The individual is responsible for the design and scoping of new systems, review of existing systems, vendor oversight and proactive support.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of LAN/WAN & telecomm services are in line with agreed SLA's
- Review and improvement of LAN/WAN & telecomm technologies evolve as business needs grow
- Provide networking support during projects, outages and daily operations
- Develop strategic vision for networking & telecomm landscape
- Establish well documented standards and guidelines
- Research/assess available network technologies in relation to the enterprise's current and future needs
Qualifications:
- Strong LAN/WAN and Telecomm background
- Broad understanding of networking implications on the IT landscape and how networking integrates key systems and geographies
- Background on Voice Over IP convergence
- Strong project management skills and experience managing remote locations
- Confidence and leadership qualities for IT project teams in a cross functional environment
- Ability to manage risk and issues in projects and support
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline;
- 5 - 8 years of related experience supporting LAN/WAN environment.
- Experience with traditional PBX & VoIP.
- Vendor management experience or formal management experience required.
