Description
High Profile Multinational Defence Company based in Hertfordshire seeks an experienced Mechanical Packaging Designer with Pro-Engineer experience to define the bespoke Mechanical Packaging designs housing CCAs; Interpret the Sub-System Specifications and generation of 3D models/designs on CAD (Pro-Engineer); generate the CCA Interface Definitions including electronic data exchange to ECAD tools. You must have Pro-Engineer experience however they may consider `exceptional` candidates with other 3D packages.
You must be willing to undergo the SC level security clearance process (or current SC level clearance).
Experience and Skills
- Experience in specification, design & manufacture of Electronic Sub-Systems.
- Must have experience in Pro-Engineer
- Knowledge of the following: Manufacturing processes, EMC, Gaskets, connectors to BS & military specifications, tolerance studies, environmental test, thermal management, materials, CCA/Flexi manufacture, electronic components.
- An appreciation of other engineering areas/domains.
