Electrical Engineer, Off-Shore Safety Controllers, Design Engineer
£300 - £400/day + target driven bonus
Exciting contract position for a degree educated (Electrical and Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical and IT, or similar) Electrical Engineer to work within the Oil and Gas division of this 35 billion dollar global company. Duties will include developing programmable firmware safety systems for diesel engines in the oil and gas sector. With a minimum 6yrs commercial experience and working ideally in a heavy diesel engine environment the Electrical Engineer will be working with a small team mainly in the UK but with occasional travel to the Far East.
The Electrical Engineer must have good communication skills and be able to document and report new designs including wiring diagrams. Working with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, GE Fanuc, ABB, Omron etc.) you must be competent with configuration and support.
