About The Role:
- This exciting role involves providing first level IT support
- The position is required to assist the business in achieving its vision and value to clients and business partners
- This small team requires an individual with passion, enthusiasm and a hands-on background
- Manage and resolve requests/support ticketsProvide 1st Level Support on IT requests/incidents
- Perform password resets/blackberry activations
- Communicate to users relating to IT Incidents/Outages and Changes
- Conduct reviews relating to applications/systems access
- Assist in creating IT capital expenditure forms
Key Skills Required:
- Strong communication and written skills (2 years customer service experience as a minimum)
- Positive thinker, takes initiatives and has a "can do" attitude
- Basic knowledge on Windows/Office Suite 2003+
- Experience in communicating with users face to face and over the phone
- Ability to prioritize tasks and objectives with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team and be a team player
- Maintains a keen interest in new technology trends and platforms
- Punctuality is required
- ITIL Foundation Certificate/University Degree
- Exposure to blackberry and Internet related technologies
- Previous experience working in Financial Services environment
