This is a major Financial Services Firm with a significant global presence. They are based in the Sydney CBD and have outstanding offices. Due to continued growth they are in the envious position of being able to recruit before the new year.

About The Role:

  • This exciting role involves providing first level IT support
  • The position is required to assist the business in achieving its vision and value to clients and business partners
  • This small team requires an individual with passion, enthusiasm and a hands-on background
  • Manage and resolve requests/support ticketsProvide 1st Level Support on IT requests/incidents
  • Perform password resets/blackberry activations
  • Communicate to users relating to IT Incidents/Outages and Changes
  • Conduct reviews relating to applications/systems access
  • Assist in creating IT capital expenditure forms

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and written skills (2 years customer service experience as a minimum)
  • Positive thinker, takes initiatives and has a "can do" attitude
  • Basic knowledge on Windows/Office Suite 2003+
  • Experience in communicating with users face to face and over the phone
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and objectives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a team and be a team player
  • Maintains a keen interest in new technology trends and platforms
  • Punctuality is required
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate/University Degree
  • Exposure to blackberry and Internet related technologies
  • Previous experience working in Financial Services environment
