Beacon Hill Technologies is working with a client on the West side of Cleveland who is looking for a Manual QA Tester for a 3+ month contract position.
Summary:
This position is responsible for the design, review and execution of test cases and plans for all maintained applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design, review and execute test cases for all maintained applications.
* Work with application developers and core team members to deploy applications
* Work with the user community to troubleshoot issues related to the applications
* Communicate status and progress of testing effort
* Conduct post production testing as appropriate to verify correct implementation
* Document defects and fixes
Required Skills:
* Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
* Must have strong interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), and problem solving skills.
* Ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with staff at all levels.
* Ability to test using applications that are maintained by a third party.
* 3+ years of QA experience and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of programming and disciplines.
