An excellent opportunity for an events manager within a leading global bank. The events manager is responsible for providing event, conference and group hospitality support to the business, as well as to global executives within the UK.
The role holder will be responsible for wholesale event management and planning - across external, international and group channels
o Event planning and management.
o Supplier sourcing and relationship management
o E-invitations, RSVPs, and tracking.
o Conference management.
o Financial management of budget, MECS and invoices.
* Liaise with channel marketing and PR managers to understand objectives and key messages/product push for events
* Work alongside channel marketing to develop event themes & concepts where applicable
* Plan and manage events, conferences, PR and group corporate hospitality activity to support sales teams
* Deliver regular status updates to stakeholders
Key Skills
* Strong event management experience with successful track record is essential
* Financial Services experience required (Buy or sell side)
* Stakeholders communication at all levels
* Strong written and verbal communicaton skills
* Highly organised with exceptional planning skills
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks with varying time-lines and deadlines
* Problem solver
* Solid IT skills
