Job Description:
- Provide Pre-Sales Support to the Telesales & Outbound sales organization on NETAPP products
- Develop and maintain a high level of product expertise in the entire portfolio of NETAPP products
- Obtain sales and technical certifications as required to maintain vendor authorizations
- Be a subject matter expert on all vendor pricing programs, and provide direction to the sales organization on effective utilization of these programs to drive business.
- Conduct business analysis & reporting to support execution of sales plans, strategies and tactics
- Develop, organize, and conduct sales training on NETAPP products and programs
- Maintain a pipeline of all NETAPP sales opportunities
- Proactively assist the sales organization in moving opportunities throughout the sales cycle
- Promote alignment between Softchoice sales reps and NETAPP sales teams
- Develop and maintain strong a strong vendor relationship between NETAPP and Softchoice
- Optimize up-sell and cross-sell opportunities by monitoring and following up on sales orders and quotes.
- Interact and serve as an internal resource for all departments in facilitating the sales process of NETAPP products.
- Conduct customer facing appointments, and provide phone based support to customers and to the sales organization to facilitate closing of new and existing business.
- Create, update, communicate key vendor information pertinent to sales as required
- Represent Softchoice at NETAPP events
Act as an escalation contact for the Softchoice sales organization on NETAPP products
