Description

You will be a strong Financial Manager with business performance analysis skills. You will ideally have worked within the Scottish public sector and will provide analysis and advice to the Senior Management Team on all financial matters and implications including financial management reports, forecasting, preparing financial scenarios/models, to inform operational and strategic decision making and making recommendations where relevant. You will also provide accurate and pertinent financial and planning information, papers and briefings, including monitoring and reporting, making recommendations where necessary. Proven skills and experience of financial management systems and a good working knowledge of ICT and related systems will be essential, as well as corporate governance skills and excellent communication skills. You will have experience of carrying out a full range of public sector accounting, budgeting and planning, managing procurement and experience of preparation of monthly financial monitoring reports. Any bilingual Gaelic language skills will be advantageous.
