Ihre Aufgaben:
- Administration of centralized storage and backup infrastructure
- Administration of both tape and snapshot based backup technologies
- Handling of both hardware and software issues including communication to vendors
- Performing data recovery
- Support of storage related operating system issues
- Participation in design and development of company storage and backup infrastructure
Ihre Qualifikation
- Degree in Computer Science, IT , Electrical Engineering or equivalent working experience
- Expertise in the administration, implementation and maintenance of NetApp storage Systems
- Excellent knowledge of OnTap Operating system, including related products (Snap Drive / Snap Manager for various applications)
- Knowledge of enterprise data backup and recovery tools
- Knowledge of server blade technology is an advantage
- Knowledge of both Unix/Linux based and Windows operating systems is an advantage
- Expertise in VMware (3.5 and vSphere) or other virtualization techniques is an advantage
- Fluency in English
- German language skills are an advantage
