Inventory/Asset Controller
Location: Hook, Hampshire
Duration: 12 months interim
Rate: £200 - £240 per day
Our defence client require an experienced Asset Controller for an interim contract.
Act as the Stores Controller to oversee and regulate the control of the Project and maintain the Public Stores Account (PSA).
Responsibilties:
* Exercise day-to-day control of the management process
* Maintain policy documentation
* Maintain a register in a Hardcat Asset Management database
* Monitor audits carried out and ensure that the results are imported into the Database
* Investigate discrepancies and provide reports
* Provide annual inventory/stock reports
* Adherence to the contractual (or source document) obligations
* Controlling issues to their delivery area under the contracts for which they are responsible, including receipt, labelling/tagging, movements, tracking, discrepancy management and disposal.
* Documenting and maintaining procedures within their Project.
* Support checks, assessments and audits of the Project against control procedures.
* Managing self-accounting and non-accounting subcontractors in their control.
Essential skills:
Knowledge and experience of GFA Management and Audit Procedures
High degree of accuracy
Proactive and self motivated
Desirable skills:
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
Experience of HP ORC and orders process
