Senior Audio Development Engineer - DSP, Class-D - Contract - Belgium
An established audio technology specialist is currently recruiting for an experienced development and verification engineer to work on cutting edge audio product development for the consumer electronics market
You will be primarily responsible for the design and verification of hardware circuitry and the correct implementation of audio processing
Responsibilities
- Design follow-up for an assigned audio part as well as verification against the specification of electrical circuits
- Application of the available digital sound processing and CODEC functions so the optimum is reached in terms of sound performance
- Evaluate prototypes on the hardware level as well as on a software driver and system performance level
- Manage, solve and or follow up on technical problems
- Optimise test and alignment instructions in co-operation with the process engineer
Essential Skills
- Detailed experience in audio related hardware measurements like cross talk, bandwidth, audio filter responses, distortion, signal to noise
- Understanding of DSP algorithms, particularly filter types; IRR, FIR.
- Knowledge of C# and Python would be beneficial
